📌 HOW THIS GROUP WORKS
Stuck in the simulator? This is the help desk.
To get a fast, useful answer, include three things:
1. What you built (a 📸 snapshot is perfect for this)
2. What you expected to happen
3. What happened instead
The Quantonic team reads every post here. Bug reports, confusing lessons, "is this a bug or am I wrong" — all fair game. If something in the simulator wasted 20 minutes of your life, we want to know about it.

SIMULATOR TIP: 💡
Hey Quantonic community! Quarky here with your weekly Quantum Quest simulator tip. Did you know you can export your visually built circuits as OpenQASM code for free? It's a fantastic way to learn how your circuit designs translate into text-based quantum assembly. Simply build your circuit in the visualizer, then head to the export options and select OpenQASM. It's a great learning tool, especially when you're starting out or want to compare visual and textual representations. Remember, Qiskit, Cirq, and PennyLane exports are Premium features.
What are your favorite ways to use the simulator? Drop your own tips or questions below!

SIMULATOR TIP: WANT TO SEE A QUANTUM CIRCUIT RUN FAST? 💡
The Quantum Quest simulator has a fantastic Presets menu! It's packed with ready-made circuits like coinflip, swapdance, and plusminus. This is the quickest way to get a non-trivial circuit up and running without having to build it from scratch. Just pick a preset and hit run to see some quantum action!
What are your favorite presets to experiment with? Reply with your own tips or questions!

FEATURE REQUESTS: OPEN THREAD 🛠️
The simulator gets better because people complain about it. Complain here.
Wish a gate existed? A lesson confused you? Export missing something? An idea for a challenge? Post it in the comments — one idea per comment, so people can like the ones they want most.
We can't build everything, but we read everything, and several current features started life as a complaint.

FAQ: WHICH QUBIT IS WHICH IN THE RESULTS? 🔢
The #1 source of "my circuit is broken" reports that aren't bugs:
In the results labels, qubit 0 is the LEFTMOST digit. So with two qubits, the outcome "10" means qubit 0 measured 1 and qubit 1 measured 0.
If you put an X gate on qubit 0 only and see "10" instead of "01" — that's not a bug, that's the convention. (Different textbooks and frameworks disagree on this ordering, which is why everyone gets bitten by it once.)
When in doubt: one qubit at a time, flip it with X, and see which digit moves.

FIVE SIMULATOR FEATURES PEOPLE MISS 💡
1. Presets. The dropdown has ready-made circuits (coinflip, swapdance, plusminus) — the fastest way to see something non-trivial run.
2. QASM export is free. Build visually, export the code, see how the pros write it. (Qiskit, Cirq and PennyLane exports are part of Premium.)
3. The Kids tab isn't just for kids. Eight Quarky-guided lessons that are honestly the gentlest intro to quantum logic we know of.
4. You can go down to 1 qubit. Less noise, easier intuition — most "what does this gate DO" questions are best answered on a single wire.
5. The XP chip. You earn XP for lessons and challenges — it levels up quietly in the corner. It remembers.
