CHALLENGE #10: X-RAY THE X BASIS 🩻

Ever wondered why measuring matters? It's all about the basis! Sandwiching a circuit in H gates lets us peek at qubits in the X basis, where states that look the same in the Z basis can become distinct.

Task: We'll prove that H|0⟩ and H(X|0⟩) are actually different, even though they both give 50/50 histograms at first. Your mission: add one more H gate before measuring each and see the magic happen.

Easy mode: Build Circuit A: H. Build Circuit B: X then H. Now, add a final H to the end of BOTH circuits and compare their measurement outcomes.

Stretch: Use the plusminus preset. After you've tried the challenge, explain in your own words what the + and − states represent.

Build it in the Quantum Quest simulator and share your result with the 📸 Community button.
