No-Cloning Theorem

Intermediate Quantum Mechanics
A fundamental principle stating that it is impossible to create an exact copy of an unknown quantum state.

📖 In-Depth Explanation

The no-cloning theorem proves you cannot build a device that takes an arbitrary unknown quantum state and produces two copies. This enables quantum cryptography (eavesdroppers cannot copy quantum keys) but complicates error correction.
