Quantum Teleportation

Intermediate Applications
A protocol to transfer a quantum state from one location to another using entanglement and classical communication.

📖 In-Depth Explanation

Despite its name, quantum teleportation does not transport matter or energy faster than light. It uses pre-shared entanglement and classical communication to transfer the quantum state of a qubit. The original state is destroyed in the process. Teleportation is fundamental to quantum networks.
